Hazara motorway will create job opportunities in region

Islamabad – Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Murtaza Javed Abbasi has said that Hazara Expressway is current government’s gift to the people of Hazara; not only people of the area would get the benefit of the road but people of Gilgit Baltistan would obtain the advantage of it. The project will become the source of new job opportunities in the region. 

He expressed these views during a briefing by NHA, on the ongoing work on Hazara Expressway, while visiting this astounding road. Federal minister for communication Dr. Abdul Kareem, Minister for religious affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf and high officials of NHA were present at the occasion. 

Deputy speaker and the federal ministers were told by NHA during the briefing that speedy work was underway on the project and it would be opened in three different sections after its completion; the project would be accomplished in December this year. 

The participants were told that the phase-I, from Burhan Exchange to Havilian is 59 KM long, comprising of six lines and 32 billion rupees would be spent on the project. 

“Federal government is completing development projects in KPK on priority basis”, he said, adding that we are taking measures for the improvement of communication in every way”. He further said that a net of roads was being constructed in the whole country and an innovative communication is being established in the country. 

Deputy speaker and the federal ministers lauded the excellent performance of NHA. Afterwards, they visited different sections of Hazara Motorway Express Way and revived the work. They expressed satisfaction on the ongoing work.
