Islamabad – Senate Special Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has suggested formulating a regional strategy for eradicating terrorism and extremism, and confronting US, India and Israel collaboration.
According to the documents available to Corridor News, the committee in its recommendations has said that eradicating terrorism and extremism has become inevitable, extremism has reached to its climax in the neighboring country India and its reason is US, India, and Israel collaboration.
There must be a tangible strategy to counter terrorism and extremism. “We need to have cooperation with China in renowned technology information, construction of water reservoir, alternate resources of energy, development of mining sector, forestry, dairy-farming, fishing, cold storage, housing, handicraft and other sectors” the documents highlighted, saying that China-ASEAN Free Trade should be linked to CPEC which is actionable and China has also expressed will of cooperation in this regard.
The special committee on CPEC has suggested assessing the Chinese, Malaysian and Indonesian Industrial Model Parks and constructing the same kind of Parks in Pakistan and China.
