Balochistan the most significant province for CPEC: Governor Balochistan

Quetta – Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai on Tuesday said Balochistan has become main province of country due to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He said this while addressing at ceremony of the 15th Convocation of University of Balochistan. Speaker Balochistan Assembly, parliamentarians, Vice Chancellor Balochistan University professor, Dr Javaid Iqbal, other professors, parents and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai said I am attending the fifth consecutive convocation, it indicates the level of improvement and stability of this senior most educational institution of the province, saying that it is indeed a tribute to your leadership as Vice Chancellor, University of Balochistan and dedication of the faculty.

He said convocations are the most vital dates in the calendar of a university. Governor Muhammad Khan also congratulated young men and women that have completed their studies at various levels, saying that world today is a globe of opportunities and change.

He said Balochistan has become main province of country due to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai advised the students to focus their studies in order to take advantage of CPEC in future, saying that those students are getting degrees from this Convocation, who are future of province.

"Today's world has become scientific village and information technology has also been progressed", he added. Governor hoped that educated youth would get successful in the area and they could take part in progressing of country.

Vice Chancellor of UoB Professor, Dr Javaid Iqbal also spoke at the ceremony and highlighted importance of education, despite advising students to take opportunities of University of Balochistan which are providing all facilities to undergraduates for improving higher education for long time.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai distributed degrees and certificate among 200 students of various departmental of UoB at the end of ceremony.
